Pale fitted jacket turned screaming 70's mango with DIY yellow dye - ☽ ✧ - Δ - ✧ ☾ - From light and pale to a mango hued fitted jacket. This jacket I had from my managerial role for a time at French Connection always felt nice but made me feel pale. I was aiming for yellow but the yellow dye took so well it went orange. At the end I don't really mind. This is going to be awesome over my coffee and chocolate colored blouses and turtlenecks. So if you have a pale jacket that does the same for you give it a color lift. I have a blazer I want to do this to also but in a teal (green blue dark). It becomes a new jacket for only a few bucks to dye. From Chapter 'colorchange' Classic ways to style 7o's Jackets;
Before and After From creamy white fitted jacket with concealed hood from French Connection to a bright orange jacket reminisce of 70's boho... The golden yellow natural and poly dye was heated in a large pot and the coverup was simmered over the lowest heat for an hour with other garments and the occasional stir. Half a cup of salt was added to the simmer to help color fast the jacket. © September 5th 2018-09-05
